What types of storage are there: • Short term storage, also called storage in transit (SIT) is when the storage period is six months or less. • Long term storage is when the storage period is longer than six months. • You may also provide your own storage location, perhaps a mini storage unit you have rented, or an out building like a garage or barn. What types of containers and storage locations do you have? • We have warehouse containers that are stored inside our warehouse. They come in two sizes, medium which is 5’x7’x7.5’, and large which is 5’x8’x8.5’ • We also have outdoor mini storage units • We offer a POD like service featuring outdoor containers that may be stored at your location. Is your warehouse climate controlled? Climate controlled means using heating and air conditioning equipment to control temperature and humidityin a building. Our building controls temperature and humidity perfectly without using such equipment. We are climate controlled by design, a “Green warehouse.” Our building is much better than one that needs machines to keep furniture safe because machines can break or not work properly, and machines use a lot of energy. Did you know that AC units sometimes put too much moisture in the air which causes mold? Another concern - if the building is only safe when the machines are working, what happens to the furniture when the machines break down? You don’t have these worries in our building! We have been storing pianos, valuable antiques and works of art in this building since 1983. We have never had any climate related damage.
